What is the Petition?
“The petition” is the request, complaint, or notification through which facts that infringe the rights or interests of the petitioner are brought to our attention, formulated in writing and submitted at the central office or secondary offices of BTCP, as the case may be, sent by mail or electronic mail or through an online system, by means of which a petitioner or their legal representatives, acting exclusively on behalf of the petitioner and without their own commercial interest, express dissatisfaction with the service and investment activity provided under Law no. 126/2018 or with the information provided by BTCP following information requests received from petitioners; By “petitioner” is meant any natural or legal person, client/investor of BT Capital Partners, who submits a petition to BT Capital Partners regarding the service and investment activity provided under Law no. 126/2018;
Petitions submitted by petitioners must contain:
- Name and surname;
- Personal Numeric Code (CNP);
- The contact details of the petitioner (address, phone number, e-mail);
- Signature.

BT Capital Partners will respond to each petition received from petitioners in simple and easy to understand language, within a maximum of 30 days from the date of its registration at the General Secretariat, regardless of whether the solution is favorable or unfavorable, by sending by any means of communication (mail, e-mail) an address signed by the Management and the Compliance Function Representative of BTCP. In the situation where the aspects raised by the petition require a more thorough investigation, BT Capital Partners will inform the petitioner about the causes of the delay and will specify the deadline within which the petition will be resolved, which cannot exceed by more than 15 days the 30-day deadline from the registration of the petition.
In case the petition is not filed by the petitioner, it must also contain the following information about the person filing the petition:
- Name and surname;
- Contact details (address, phone number, e-mail);
- The quality and interest in question;
- Signature.
Within a maximum of 2 working days from the date of registration of the petition at the General Secretariat, or anytime at the request of the petitioner, the Compliance Function Representative:
- will confirm to the petitioner the receipt and registration of the petition;
- he will inform the petitioner about the date by which the petition will be resolved;
- will make the provisions known to the petitioner Working procedure regarding the management of complaints received from customers.
